BOS Results

Final scoring from the Romance Diva’s “Best First Meeting” contest were released yesterday. Here’s the final results -
The Lord Helps Those… Keziah – 50/50
Tonight, Forever Ember 48/50
The Rebound Guy JAC 47/50

I read Keziah’s story during the first round, so I agree with the judge – it was an awesome story! Gratz to her.

My second place finish was a lot easier to swallow when I read the very detailed comments (Thanks to Diana DeBalko of Siren Publishing for being so thorough). Had my first taste of honesty judging – and by the end, there were so many little mistakes (comma missuse the big one) that I was thinking, how did I finish second?? Going to have to sit down and go through the entry this week and fix those problems but – I hate comma usage rules!

Today was my first morning of getting up at 5:30. To write, you know. Except instead of writing I read over my scoring comments, and now I’m blogging. Bad writer.
