No such thing as a free ‘net connection at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis

After seeing different reports at different places recently about the “free” wireless in meeting rooms and public areas of the Marriott Marquis, I called them this morning.

There is absolutely no free internet connection at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.  You can get “in room” access for  $12.95 a day, or you can get wireless access in the meeting/public areas for $10 for the first 10 minutes, and then .40 every minute after.

Yay for cell phones with internet, and Starbucks!
