Mystery Chocolate

I found probably one of the best surprises you can find in my mailbox today. (Anything nicer than this would probably come certified, or not fit in my mailbox.)

I guess I’ve ruled out money and naked men, which leaves….

Chocolate! And not just any chocolate – Chocolate Truffles! Divine, delicious, decadent and delightful. Oh, how I love them.

Yes there they were, just sitting there in the back of my mailbox. Where I think it probably sat for a few days, since my mail hadn’t even come yet today when I found it there. And the “22 pieces” were actually one Rather Large Piece, making me think that it was out there in the 80+ heatwave we were experiencing last week (and which disappeared by Friday, and hasn’t been seen yet).

I’d ask the sender how long they’ve been sitting there, but now we’re down to the “Mystery” part of my chocolates. There was no name on them, nothing to indicate where or who they came from. Just a card, saying “Congrats on your first sale!”. And a large, yummy, scrumptios, now-partially-eaten box of Truffles.

To my anonymous chocolate sender (who I must know, because you had my address – and the thought that someone has tracked me down that I don’t know is to creepy to go with chocolates), I say Thank You! You made my Monday quite a bit better than it would otherwise have been. And if you’d like to come out of your anonymity, shoot me an email. I’ll feel even better letting these little morsels of divinity melt on my tongue and thinking happy thoughts of you at the same time! :smirk:
