I have a bit up over at Beyond The Veil today about St. Augustine – one of my favorite places, and luckily for me only a short hour drive down the coast. Stop over and chat about ghost tours if you’ve got a minute.

I spent almost three hours yesterday sitting at the car dealership, but the deed is done. My beloved wagon has gone off to the car auction, and I’m now the terribly excited owner of a sporty, shiny, and environmentally friendly hybrid Prius. Princess wants to call her Genevieve. Genevieve only had 17 miles on her when I drove her off the lot – my very first NEW new car – that number will rapidly grow with car pool starting next week.
But now I’m unbelieveably behind – yesterday was my third trip to the dealership; we’d picked the exact car, I had financing, they had already inspected and made an offer for my trade-in. Don’t even ask me why in the hell I was still there for almost three hours. But I will say once I told them I had to go, car or no car, I was out of there in 25 minutes.
I should have said that a few hours earlier I guess?
So today is going to be much more frantic than I had planned. I’ve got a bit of back to school shopping to finish, some office work to finish that was supposed to be done yesterday, and a ton of yard work to get done. But before I can do that yard work, a trip to the corner to refill the propane tank on the mosquito magnet – it ran dry sometime this week, and the bloodsucking pests are taking over by the pool.
We’ve got three tournaments scheduled this weekend, so hubby is off working the two in Orlando and I’m working the one here tomorrow from 6am til – well, probably dark. There goes the weekend!
Two days and counting

Does Princess know that Genevieve is her favorite aunt’s SL name?
Can’t wait for St. Augustine, Genevieve and the bloodsucker-less pool!
