Two steps forward on the WIP, then a big step back when I deleted 5000 words yesterday. They just weren’t working, and I was going down a rabbit hole with a plot turn that never should have been there.
Nothing’s ever “deleted” of course – it’s just moved from the working .doc to the junk folder. But junk is junk, and those words won’t be appearing in their current format.

Rainy day, and for some reason the dog stinks worse than usual. Of course if it weren’t a rainy day I would totally be giving him a bath. Sure thing.
As if to punctuate that remark he just farted. Ugh.
On that fragrant note, it’s off to work for me.

Our elections are in two weeks here in NZ. Personally, I can’t wait for all the voting to be over in both countries. The electioneering seems to have been going on for ages. All our voting takes place in one day – much easier when you’re a smaller country
