I haven’t been able to drag myself away from the televised Inauguration coverage this morning. But it’s hard to feel guilty for my lack of productivity when you know you’re seeing something as momentous as this unfold in front of your eyes.
Michelle Obama, our soon-to-be first latdy, is stunningly beautiful. Calm, gracious, and a role model like she possibly never imagined she would be. (I hope that she has a warmer coat to wear for the several hours she’ll be outside.)
Barack puts the sexy back in being president. I’ve been trying to see if he’s still wearing his Blackberry, but that long coat has covered his hip all day.
I hope your day is full of reasons to celebrate.

The oldest daughter already has the promise of her mother’s beauty. I,too watched a couple of hours of the coverage mixed with viewing the falling snow and watching the birds, and will probably view some of the parade. As you said…a moment of historical significance.
