The Awkward Family Thanksgiving

Madness, that’s what the past three weeks have been. In a good way. Which, if there must be madness, is the best way to have it.

I’m almost ready to put my feet up and relax. Family gets here tomorrow – yay! There’s a few more than usual coming this year, although still not quite as many as I’d started to hope. I’ve got most of my Thanksgiving dinner shopping done, and almost everything on the spreadsheet is either green (done) or blue (on track). No pink (warning) and no red (oh crap!). Not yet.

But I better get back to it, if I want to keep it that way!

I’m not enough of a hard-ass to even try to pull something like this off. Not that I’m not tempted. But if I did, I’m pretty sure my hostess privileges would be revoked faster than you can say “out of wine”.
